The daughter of two chefs, Angela grew up in her family’s restaurant developing her taste for the simple pleasures in life — good food and good wine shared with family.
She got her first taste of the wine industry working as a wine buyer in San Francisco beginning in the late '90s. After earning her Certified Sommelier in 2010, she dipped her toes in grape crushing at Patz & Hall Winery during the 2012 harvest. In 2013, she worked the wine harvest at Bedrock Wine Company which specializes in wines from California's historic vineyards. Angela also founded and ran Angels + Thieves Wines, based in Sonoma, from 2013-2015. This innovative online wine club specialized in small production craft wines and wines from women winemakers paired with recipes from around the globe. In early 2019, Angela became Wine & Spirits Director for the Triple Creek Ranch, a luxury Relais & Châteaux property, located in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana.
A passion for wellness led to her first venture, Bliss Flow Yoga, founded in 2005. Over the course of the next decade Angela grew Bliss Flow Yoga from a shoestring operation at it’s conception to a thriving business which she successfully sold to a long-time employee in 2018. Her work with yoga led to an innovative Yoga + Wine program that was featured in the New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Gotham Magazine and more. In addition, Angela has led Yoga + Wine workshops and retreats around the world including Napa, Barcelona, Sicily and more.
Angela currently consults for organizations, both big and small, on marketing, social media and how to start or grow your business. Past clients have included the Stanford School of Medicine on social media as well as guest blogging at their MedX conferences. Her diverse experiences and strong entrepreneurial spirit gives her a unique perspective and ability to help your organization achieve its goals. Angela believes in big dreams, hard work and appreciating life's little pleasures.
