Today was 'picture day' at Bliss Flow Yoga and it was a blast assisting photographer extraordinaire John Kuehl and our fabulous yogis with new shots for our website. Days like today make me feel so grateful to be an entrepreneur. I get to be creative and a be a part of an incredible community. What more could a girl ask for?
It's my first time in New Mexico and I have to say I'm completely smitten. There's definitely some pretty serious magic in the air here. Not to mention in the food.
In Albuquerque, we stayed at the Hotel Andaluz. This historic gem, built in 1939, is in the heart of all the action of downtown. Recently remodeled to capture it's former glamour, it was the perfect place to put up our feet after a long stretch of highway. The next morning at local favorite Casa de Benevidez, we discovered that the best question in the world is 'Red or Green?'. The only correct answer is (of course) smothered with both. Especially when we're talking huevos rancheros. There's a whole chile culture in New Mexico and if you are a food lover I highly recommend a trip here dedicated to eating your way through it.
We're off to Santa Fe next to check out the art, the green-chile cheeseburgers and to do a little vintage shopping. Cheers!
Sonoma always feels like home and it's good to be back. My brother is here with me for a long weekend as we prepare for our cross-country drive and it's been special sharing some of my favorite spots with him.
A long foggy drive down Highway 1 for crab sandwiches along the coast. A chilly hike through Jack London Park-stopping to wonder at ancient redwoods and vineyards blossoming over with yellow mustard. Sipping on Zinfandel Nouveau from Bedrock on the back porch at Glen Ellen Star. I love this time of year in Sonoma. If this isn't the good life I don't know what is. Cheers!

Could there possibly be a better way to start your day than a 'cornetto' filled with Sicilian pistachio cream and a perfect espresso? I think not.
A rainy weekend in Rome enjoying all of the 'eternal' city's little pleasures. Jostling for an espresso. Wandering down ancient alleyways. Slowing down enough to appreciate 'la dolce vita'. Next stop...Palermo to visit my family. A presto!
